著者들은 3세부터 11세까지의 男女 兒童 900名을 對象으로 採得한 上·下顎 硬石膏 模型
1,800個에 對하여 齒穹幅經 및 長徑을 計測分析하여 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다.
齒穹의 幅徑 및 長徑은 年齡, 性別 및 上·下顎에 따라 달랐다.
1. 齒穹의 幅經은 年齡이 增加함에따라 增加하는 傾向을 나타내었다.
2. 齒穹의 長經은 變化가 크지 않았다.
3. 齒穹의 幅徑 및 長徑은 男子가 女子보다 대체로 컸다.
4. 上顎穹의 幅經 및 長徑은 下顎穹보다 컸다.
#초록#
The purpose of this study is to analyze the width and length changes of the dental
arches during the primary, mixed and early permanent dentition. 1800 stone models of
maxillary and mandibular arches obtained from the children aged 3 to 11 years old were
under measurement.
The results were as follows ;
Arch widths and lengths differed with age, sex and jaw.
1. Width of dental arches showed increase tendency according to increasing age.
2. Lengths of dental arches remained somewhat stable.
3. The dental arches of males were wider and longer than those of females.
4. Upper arches were wider and longer than lower arches.
